Now that I am there
'Now that I am there' is an installation that consists of 3 photographs spread throughout the Rietveld campus that depict a building situated on the Zuidas 700 meters from the campus. The photographs are placed in spaces that offer a view to either the real building or another photograph of the building. I present the building in 3 different ways to show an image operates in comparison to the real version. the photographs act as signifiers for the real building and the other photographs. It is through the mechanics of photography as a system of communication that the building and the photographs together become one work.
During the Graduation 2021 the full academy spaces transform into exhibition space for the graduating students. The project spaces are also being used.
Fine Art graduate Arjan Post presented part of his work at the Roof of the Fedlev building.
